ShipX — built in Vietnam as SG Link and now fully integrated into Amilo's regional platform — is Southeast Asia's cross-border layer, giving merchants one route from a home warehouse to buyers in 220+ destinations.
SINGAPORE, 15 September 2026 — ShipX, the cross-border specialist formerly known as SG Link, has completed its integration into Amilo's regional logistics network — Amilo's fourth acquisition and integration in four years. The move plugs ShipX's cross-border expertise directly into Amilo's platform, extending reach to 220+ destinations for the merchants who rely on us.
For a team that's spent since 2020 solving cross-border shipping out of Vietnam, the integration is less a change in identity than a change in scale.
What ShipX has always done — now on a bigger platform
Southeast Asia has millions of small and mid-sized sellers with products worth selling abroad, and very few can actually pull it off. The constraint has never really been demand — it's operational: destination-specific customs documentation, landed duties that can't be quoted reliably in advance, limited visibility once a shipment leaves the country, and freight rates built for volumes far bigger than most exporters can offer.
That's the gap ShipX was built to close: pooling volume so a modest shipment moves on economics closer to a large one, and keeping documentation, duties and tracking in one place instead of scattered across brokers and portals. Joining Amilo's network doesn't change that job — it puts it on top of a single stack spanning marketplaces, order management, warehouse, transport, customs and delivery management, and connects it to Amilo's warehousing and fulfilment across the region.

"SG Link, now ShipX, is an amazing team. Their knowledge of complex cross-border processes is a core pillar of our strategy of helping millions of ASEAN SMEs expand globally. Despite fuel-price and tariff-war pressure, our teams have come together very well and delivered positive growth in the first half of this year."
— Arun Mambully, Founder & CEO, Amilo
What this changes for merchants shipping with us
The rebrand from SG Link to ShipX in June 2026 was the first step; full platform integration is the second. Merchants get the same cross-border team and process they've worked with, now backed by Amilo's broader network — meaning better economics on volume, more destinations reachable through one relationship, and one place to track a shipment from a home-market warehouse shelf through customs to a buyer overseas.

"We have now proven our acquisition, integration and turnaround story four times in four years. With heavy AI usage across all functions, the platform keeps getting more robust — and we are extending it across the commerce and distribution space."
— Chris Revord, Head of Finance, Amilo
Looking ahead
The infrastructure-heavy part of getting here — warehouses, fleets, licences, border processes — is largely built. What ShipX is layering on next is the same data and AI tooling running across the rest of Amilo's platform, aimed at making cross-border decisions faster for the merchants who depend on us, without adding friction to a process that's meant to get simpler over time.
